Executive Assistant

Ekaya is a dynamic Housing Association, whose main objective is to provide good quality housing and support services primarily to black and ethnic minority (BME) women, their families and others with similar needs in South London Boroughs. Ekaya also manages a 43-unit community nursery in Tulse Hill, South London. We strive to adopt a customer-centred and collaborative approach in all we do and create flexible teams that deliver.
With a view to improving our service provision to our customers, we are currently looking to appoint an Executive Assistant.

Executive Assistant

 37.5 hours / week (9.00am – 5.30pm)

Salary: £30,615 / annum

Location: Borough, London

We are looking for an extremely well organised and competent Executive Assistant to be the primary support for our Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and to ensure that our CEO, Senior Management Team and Board are fully supported, plus providing administrative support across the organisation.

This role demands a strong sense of urgency and the ability to work independently on assignments with sound judgment. The successful candidate must possess excellent administrative, organisational, communications and planning skills, with a strong bias for action and the ability to multi-task effectively.

You will have a high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information and professionalism in dealing with both internal and external stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will enjoy a varied and busy workload and will ensure that the organisation’s corporate services admin tasks are performed to a high standard along with providing excellent professional and confidential administrative support to the CEO, Senior Management Team and the Board.

Some occasional evening meetings attendance will be required.

Key responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Providing excellent personal and executive assistant support to the CEO, including managing the CEO’s diary.
  • Being the first point of contact for customers before they make contact with the CEO.
  • Supporting the Senior Management team and the Board with administration tasks they require.
  • Attending Board meetings and away days and taking minutes of meetings, where required.
  • Preparing packs for Board meetings.
  • Being responsible for office organisation, dealing with correspondence and scheduling meetings/events.
  • Contributing to developing, communicating and enacting the strategies and priorities for the Association.

  • Successful candidates will be required to provide proof of eligibility to work in the UK
