Ekaya is a ‘not for profit organisation’ with an excellent track record and an exciting ambition toward growth. Ekaya has over 25 years’ experience of providing housing and support services to young people at risk and predominantly black and ethnic minority (BME) women and their families.

We operate across eight south London Boroughs providing housing management services within 440 homes, Supported Housing services to teenage parents and Floating Support for care leavers and young parents.

Ekaya also owns a subsidiary nursery, Happy Nursery Days, which provides 69 community Childcare places in the Tulse Hill area of Lambeth.

WE are looking to appoint Tenant Board Members to join our SMALL DYNAMIC BME ASSOCIATION.

  • Are you interested in supporting BME women, their families, and other groups with similar needs?
  • Can you contribute to an energetic BME housing association and help progress the future of the Association?
  • Are you a Tenant wishing to be part of the driving force to deliver services in the best interest of all tenants

Then this could be for you….

Joining our Board will offer you an exciting opportunity to share your and other tenants experience and make an important contribution to the strategic direction and drive continuous improvement within Ekaya.

Key to this will be a clear demonstration of enthusiasm to develop and grow a community-based first class service to all the customers we serve.

Whilst these are voluntary roles, expenses will be paid for. Membership will require at least 30 hours per annum of your time + an annual weekend Away Day.
