Located in Tulse Hill, in the heart of Lambeth, Happy Nursery Days aims to provide the highest standards of care in a safe and secure environment.  The nursery opened in September 2004 and provides high standards of childcare and education for children aged between 3 months and 5 years.  Our well designed, spacious and stimulating playrooms and large eco-friendly garden area provide an environment where children can achieve their full potential and are encouraged and supported to become natural explorers and inquisitive learners.

Committed to continuous improvement through the development of our staff team based on best practice, Happy Nursery Days is seeking to recruit to the following posts to work in our Community Nursery:

 

NURSERY MANAGER

 

Qualification:                         A Degree in Early Years, with experience in Early Years’ Management

Contract Type / Hours:        Permanent / Full-time (40 hours per week)

Salary:                                    Starting @ £35,000 per annum (rising to £40,000, depending on performance)

The following requirements are essential to the role:

  • Experience, knowledge and understanding of how to implement the EYFS
  • The ability to assess and evaluate the Early Years Provision/implement an action plan and monitor progress (SEF)
  • Good knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding Procedures & Multi Agency Working
  • Good understanding of Equal opportunity and Special Educational Needs
  • Good knowledge of Health & Safety legislation
  • A passion for childcare
  • Experience of implementing and evaluating the curriculum to meet the Child’s individual needs
  • Excellent Organisational Skills  

We are looking for an inspiring Nursery Manager with passion and drive to take our community nursery to Good and Outstanding.
