Ekaya's floating support services

The Support element include the following:

Needs Assessment - The Support Officer will assess the needs of the referred client and they will then decide what service needs to be provided.All clients will have an agreed Support plan drawn up which will be continually reviewed.

Life Skills - Support with developing domestic,financial and social skills

Parenting Skills - Support,advice and access to services

Social Skills - individual informal counselling and emotional support

Educational Advice - advice and support on accessing educational work and training needs

Advocacy on behalf of client - Family support network,developing positive family relationships

Access to 'other' services:community,health,support and statustory services -assist in the prevention of isolation and social exclusion.
