Our Properties, your Homes
We want to keep our properties in a safe and suitable state of repair for our residents and therefore only work with a group of approved contractors to look after our properties to ensure repairs and maintenance are done promptly and properly.
We complete regular stock condition surveys and this informs our future planned and cyclical maintenance programmes.
Gas Safety
If there is a gas supply to your home, we will ensure that it is safe by carrying out a check at least once a year. We have a legal obligation to do this and will provide you with a certificate each year.
The safety of you and your household is important to us and it is a condition of your tenancy to allow us access to undertake this check.
Who is Responsible for Repairs?
Ekaya are responsible for maintaining:
- The structure and outside of your home i.e. walls and windows
- The fixtures and fittings we have provided
- Any communal areas i.e. uneven steps or faulty access
